We have left over rice again so let’s make Risotto today♪


Good idea♪
I want something easy to eat today.
We can eat left over rice deliciously and it’s easy on our stomach!


★Left over rice ▶︎2 bowls
★Canned tomato ▶︎1/3 ~ 1/2
★Onion ▶︎1
★Chicken bouillon powder ▶︎1 tablespoon
★Egg ▶︎1
★Water ▶︎200 cc ~ 300cc ( about 7 ~ 10 fl oz )
※ You can adjust as you like

★Salt ▶︎about 1/4 teaspoon
★Pepper ▶︎about 1/4 teaspoon
★Cheese ▶︎as much as you want
★Milk ▶︎100cc ( about 3.5 fl oz )
★Olive oil ▶︎as needed ( to oil a pan )

How to make

① Cut the onion into thin slices.
Put olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion until transparent. ( on medium heat )

② Add canned tomato and stir-fry for 10 minutes.

③ Add water and chicken bouillon powder, bring it to boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.

④ Warm the left over rice in a microwave and add it to ③, and stir.

⑤ Once the rice swell out a little, Pour beaten egg evenly and stir slowly. ( on low heat )
( Adjust cooking time as you like )

⑥ Add cheese as much as you want and stir until cheese melt.

⑦ Add milk and adjust the taste with salt and pepper, and it’s all done♪


If you are worried if the egg is cooked through, you can heat the risotto in a microwave♪


You can put other vegetables other than onion.

For example spinach, potato, frozen mixed vegetables,,, etc.
Mushrooms will be also good to put♪

You can arrange as you like.


This tomato risotto will be good when you or your family don’t have no appetite.
