It’s rice bowl topped with seasoned ground meat and egg!


We call this dish Soboro-Don in Japan♪
It looks delicious, isn’t it?

Let’s take a look at how to make it now!


★Cooked rice ▶︎2 bowls or more

~ Meat ~

★Ground beef ▶︎150g
★Onion ▶︎1
★Garlic ▶︎1 clove
★☆Soy sauce ▶︎3 tablespoons
★☆Sugar ▶︎1 and 1/2 tablespoons
★Water ▶︎100cc ( about 3.5 fl oz )
★Corn starch and Water ▶︎1 tablespoon each ( mix them well )
★Oil ▶︎as needed ( to fry )

~ Egg ~

☆Egg ▶︎2
☆Salt ▶︎1/4 teaspoon or less
☆Milk ▶︎1 tablespoon
☆Oil ▶︎as needed ( to fry )
( ☆Sugar ▶︎1 tablespoon : if you like sweet egg )

How to make

① Mince the onion and garlic.

② Trun the heat on ( low ~ medium heat ) and oil a frying pan, stir-fry the minced onion until brown.

③ Add garlic and meat to ② and stir-fry until the meat is cooked through.
Once the meat colour changed to brown, add sugar and soy sauce and stir-fry a little.

Add water and bring it to boil.

④ Mix and stir water and cornstarch and add it to ③.
Once it gets thick, it’s done!

⑤ Let’s make egg part♪

Mix everything ( eggs, salt, milk, sugar if you like ) in a bowl.

⑥ Trun the heat on ( low heat ) and oil a frying pan.

⑦ Put beaten egg in ⑥ and stir the egg while cooking.

⑧ Trun the heat off before the egg is cooked well and gets dry, put a cover and leave it until the egg is cooked well.

⑨ Put cooked rice in a rice bowl and put meat on half of rice and then put egg on the other half.

It’s all done♪
