Let’s make quick and simple chicken piccata today!

In Japan, pork piccata is more familiar dish than chicken piccata.
I also like pork piccata, but we have chicken breast meat in refrigerator so we are going to make chicken one♪

If you have pork, you can try pork piccata!

Anyway, let’s take a look at how to make it!

( 1 ~ 2 servings )

★ Chicken breast meat ▶︎300g
★ Salt ▶︎a little to taste ( we used about 1/6 teaspoon )
★ Pepper ▶︎a little to taste ( we used about 1/5 teaspoon )
★ Flour ▶︎1 ~ 2 tablespoons
All-purpose flour or Self-rising flour : we used self-rising flour

★ Egg ▶︎1
★ Oil ▶︎2 ~ 3 tablespoons

How to make

① Cut the chicken breast meat into bite-size and thin slice.

② Season ① with salt and pepper and then cover them with flour.

③ Trun the heat on ( medium heat ), put oil in frying pan and make it warm.

④ Beat the egg in a bowl and cover ② with a lot of egg.

⑤ Once the frying pan becomes hot enough, place ④ in pan and fry them until lightly brown.
Turn the chicken over and fry the other side on low heat, with a cover for 10 ~ 15 minutes.

⑥ If the chicken is well cooked, it’s all done♪

It’s very easy to make, right?

This is good with ketchup, salsa sauce or aurora sauce!
( Our aurora sauce is a sauce of mayonnaise and ketchup in the same amount )

But it’s also good without any sauce!
Enjoy your piccata as you like♪
