~ glazed baby carrots ~
★Baby carrots ▶︎8 ~ as much as you want
★Butter ▶︎1 tablespoon
★Sugar ▶︎1 tablespoon
★Water ▶︎to cover the baby carrots
※We recommend to use a small pod to make glazed baby carrots
~ Teriyaki chicken ~
★Chicken legs quarters ▶︎2
★Salt ▶︎a little
★☆Soy sauce ▶︎2 tablespoons
★☆Sugar ▶︎2 tablespoons
★☆Mayonnaise ▶︎2 tablespoons
★☆Ketchup ▶︎2 tablespoons
~ Fried garlic chicken rice ~
★Cooked rice ▶︎2 cups
★Thin sliced garlic ▶︎1 clove of garlic
★Mixed vegetable ▶︎2 ~ 3 tablespoons
★Chicken flavour bouillon ▶︎1 tablespoon
★Salt and pepper ▶︎a little ( to taste )
How to make
① Let’s make glazed carrots first!
Put baby carrots, butter and sugar in a pod, and then add water to cover the baby carrots.
② Trun the heat on and boil it.
Once it boiled, make the heat low and simmer it for about 20 minutes.
③ Make the heat high and boil it for 1 minute.
Take them out from pod and rest them on plate.
We fry them a little with chicken later.
④ Let’s make Teriyaki chicken next!
Make a shallow cut in chickens to make them flat.
Sprinkle salt, put some oil in frying pan, and put chickens with the skin side down.
⑤ Turn the heat on and fry the chickens over medium heat with heat resistance plate like picture below.
Press the dish and fry the chicken for 5 minutes.
If the plate is too hot, put towel or something on it!
Or you can put something heavy on the plate, like plastic container with water.
⑥ Mix the teriyaki sauce ingredients ( soy sauce, sugar, mayonnaise, ketchup ).
Take the plate out from the frying pan. ( It should be hot so be careful! )
Put the glazed baby carrots ( we made a while ago ) and teriyaki sauce in frying pan.
Cook them together with a cover until the chicken cooked well.
⑦ Place chicken ( with the skin side up ) and baby carrots on plate.
Leave the chicken oil and some teriyaki sauce in frying pan!
⑧ Let’s make Fried garlic chicken rice!
we use the same frying pan we cooked chicken.
⑨ Fry the thin sliced garlic until you can smell the garlic.
⑩ Put mixed vegetable in ⑨ and stir-fry.
Sprinkle salt and pepper a little.
⑪ Add cooked rice in ⑩ and stir-fry for 5 to 10 minutes.
Add chicken flavour bouillon and mix them.
Check the taste and if you need more taste, add salt and pepper.
⑫ If you want to make round shape rice, put ⑪ in a ( rice ) bawl and press it a little.
And then turn it over on the plate!
Serve everything on one plate and it’s all done!
