Let’s try to make Meat Balls with delicious ketchup sauce today!


I really like the ketchup sauce♪
We don’t use cheese for this recipe, but this sauce goes very well with cheese!


The sauce will be left over so you can use the sauce for other dish♪
My recommendation is 『 Ketchup sauce and cheese over rice 』!

Just put the leftover sauce and cheese on rice, and nuke this♪
It’s so easy but so good!

Let’s go back to main subject and let’s start cooking♪


~ meat ball ~
★Ground Beef ▶︎200g
★Salt ▶︎1/3 teaspoon
★Pepper ▶︎1/4 teaspppn

~ sauce ~

★☆Water ▶︎100cc ( about 3oz )
★☆Milk ▶︎1 tablespoon
★☆Soy sauce ▶︎1 teaspoon
★☆Mayonnaise ▶︎1 tablespoon
★☆Ketchup ▶︎8 tablespoons

How to make

① Put ground beef, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix them very well.

② When ① become sticky, shape the meat into small ball form.

③ Put ★☆ ingredients ( water, milk, soy sauce, mayonnaise, ketchup ) in small saucepan and simmer it.

④ Put meat in ③ and simmer it for 20 ~ 30 minutes.
Sometimes move the saucepan gently in a circular motion.

⑥ Trun the heat off and rest the meat bolls in the sauce for 5 minutes.

It’s all done!


It’s so easy, isn’t it?

In Japan, we often use meat balls as a side dish for lunch ( = Bento ).
And this is one of the most popular side dish for kids♪


You can use the surplus sauce for other dish like hamburger steak or you can also make delicious toast with the sauce and cheese!

But my recommendation is 『 Ketchup sauce and cheese over rice 』!!
