We will introduce you our chilli recipe.


It’s not Japanese food, but we love chilli!
It’s so easy and delicious!


The good point of chilli is, it contains plenty of beans and tomato♪
The balance of sweetness of beans and sourness of tomato is amazing!


Let’s try to make it now!


★Olive oil ▶︎as needed ( about 1/2 tablespoon )
★Ground beef ▶︎7oz ( 200g )
★Onion ▶︎1
★Garlic ▶︎one clove
Red wine or Water ▶︎200ml ( 7fl oz )
★Chile powder ▶︎3 tablespoons
★Green pepper ▶︎3
★Cilantro ▶︎a fistful
☆★Tomato ketchup ▶︎2 tablespoons
☆★Canned tomato ▶︎1
☆★Canned kidney beans ▶︎1
☆★Stock cube ▶︎1
☆★Salt ▶︎1/4 teaspoon
☆★Pepper ▶︎a little

It says ” red wine or water ” but we mostly use water.
About ” stock cube ” we use chicken or beef flavour stock cube.
Whichever you use, it’s delicious!

How to make

① Chop onion,garlic and cilantro into small pieces.
Cut green pepper into 1cm cubes.
Drain off the water from kidney beans.

② Stir-fry garlic and onion until onion becomes wilted.
Put ground beef in it.
When the meat color changed to brown, add chilli powder and mix them.

③ Put red wine or water in ② and let it boil once.
Put all ☆★ ingredients ( tomato ketchup, canned tomato, canned kidney beens, stock cube, salt, pepper ) and simmer it for 15 minutes without cover.
Stir it occasionally.

④ Add green pepper and chopped cilantro in ③ and simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir sometimes, and be careful not to burn♪

It’s all done!


The combination of this chilli and cheese is really good!
You can put this Chilli on rice, bread, tortillas … anything you like!
